Ming Court Cantonese Restaurant presents an exquisitely crafted Mother's Day limited menu. The journey begins with the "Ming Court Welcome Appetizer Platter," featuring flavored small bites such as Sliced Beef and Ox Tongue in Chili Sauce, Oven-Roasted Cherry Duck, Jellyfish with Aged Vinegar, and Honey-Glazed BBQ Pork. Paired with Chayote Shoots in Sesame Sauce, Szechuan Peppercorn "Dancing" Chicken, Apple with Mullet Roe, and Roselle Winter Melon, the interplay of sour, aromatic, and numbing flavors awakens the palate.
The soup course, "Double-Boiled Chicken Soup with Dendrobium and Fish Maw," is slow-cooked to a clear broth, bringing out natural sweetness and a collagen-rich texture. The main courses follow a land-and-sea theme: "Steamed Boston Lobster with Black Garlic and Kudzu Vermicelli" uses black garlic to enhance the lobster’s freshness, with vermicelli adding a smooth texture; "Tomahawk Pork with Seasonal Vegetables in Premium Sauce" features thick-cut pork chops balanced with vegetables and a signature sauce.
For seafood, the "Steamed Red Grouper with Sanxing Scallions" uses scallion aroma to highlight the fish's delicate sweetness. "Braised Abalone and Sea Cucumber in Oyster Sauce" is slow-cooked to showcase a full-bodied flavor and rich collagen. The staple dish, "Steamed Glutinous Rice with Soft-Shell Shrimp and Chives," fuses the fragrance of rice and shrimp, with chives providing a finishing aromatic touch.
The dim sum "Handmade Cantonese Duo" features Multi-Layered BBQ Pork Pastries and Crispy Bean Curd Skin Rolls.
