“Osaka Kansai Gourmet Festival” Limited Course

 

Nakayama Restaurant presents the “Osaka Kansai Gourmet Festival.” Executive Chef Masao Yoshida from the renowned Japanese restaurant “Benkei” is invited to Taiwan to showcase the culinary essence of the six Kansai prefectures—Osaka, Kyoto, Shiga, Nara, Wakayama, and Hyogo—through a traditional kaiseki dining experience.

 

The menu features premium A5 Omi Wagyu (BMS 12) from Shiga Prefecture, one of Japan’s top three wagyu varieties. Prepared using the Kansai-style sukiyaki method—searing first, then seasoning—the dish highlights the melting marbling and rich aroma, offering a refined multi-sensory experience. Guests can enjoy one of Kansai’s most representative wagyu dishes in Taipei.Guests who order the event’s limited course will receive one complimentary glass of Konishi Shuzo’s cold-pressed Daiginjo “Kin-Otsuhai.”(Do not drink and drive. Drive safely.)

 

The promotion runs from May 1 to June 30. Guests who order the designated course will be eligible for a lucky draw, with prizes including round-trip tickets between Taipei and Osaka from Japan Airlines (JAL), a 3-night stay at Palau Royal Resort, a 2-night stay at Hotel Nikko Osaka, and a weekday one-night stay with two meals at Hotel Royal Chiaohsi. Guests are invited to experience the flavors and culinary heritage of Kansai during this limited-time event.
