Grade A (“Good”) Public Restroom Quality
Certified by Taipei City Government As part of the effort to elevate environment sanitation, Taipei City government has implemented the inspection and grading of public restrooms from 2001. To keep abreast with the first-rate standards in Japan and Western nations, the city government further proposed the provision of toilet seat paper or disinfectant in public restrooms from 2015, targeting tourist hotels, departmental stores, hospitals, MRT stations, airports and the like. A more stringent grading system will be employed in 2017, where a score in the range of 86 to 94 and the provision of toilet seat paper or disinfectant are requisite for Grade A (“Good”). In 2015, the Department of Environmental Protection of Taipei City Government has stamped Hotel Royal-Nikko Taipei’s public restroom facilities and services as Grade A (“Good”) quality. Hotel Royal-Nikko Taipei, established in 1984, is one of the pioneer hotels to install auto wash toilets in all guest rooms and on-site restaurants. In line with the hotel’s Japanese “Omotenashi” service of “Safety, Security, and Comfort”, restaurants restrooms are furnished with toilet seat disinfectant and maintained at utmost cleanliness at all time. Furthermore, barrier-free restrooms are also furnished for guests with needs. Hotel Royal-Nikko Taipei will continue with earnest efforts to realize the exemplary Japanese “Omotenashi” hospitality of “Safety, Security, and Comfort” to welcome business and leisure travelers both local and aboard. |
